Should be a very busy day tomorrow. Garden work meeting at 10, then the Burrito Project, then a trip to the Ashby Flea Market to look around and to see
sogwife's stall (she's selling her way-cool handmade pendulums (pendula?) and other hoodoo stuff).
Anyone wanna come along and help me garden, or hand out burritos, or wander? :-)

The context for this quote isn't as important as the resonance it had for me today. Thank you,

In there is the core, the depth, the basic tenet of love that my mother instilled in me. There is this idea in there that generosity of spirit, excessive love, giving without scorekeeping -- that stuff doesn't cost me anything; rather, it enriches my life.
So I guess I need to say thank you, too, to
mommaduck, who still lives generosity as a fact of life, and who never runs out of love. My mother, who always says one should "give without remembering and receive without forgetting".
Thank you, mom. I love you.
Because sometimes I'm excessive. Because sometimes people should get Too Much as a way of knowing that there is enough. Because love is something I want to be generous with and not stingy.

Really super low on physical energy today. Not sick, as far as I can tell, and not sad/depressed/down or anything, but it's taking a lot to make myself move or do stuff, and my brain is fuzzy. Maybe I have a brain cloud! I blew off
tracytreefrog accidentally (brain cloud means a Serene doesn't check her datebook), and everything is taking extra effort.
Hmm, might be time to adjust tomorrow's activities to be a little less all-consuming.
Here's the current plan:
10am-1pm: garden work meeting (shouldn't miss this, but if I do, I do; it's usually over by 11am)
noon: burrito project (no one is joining me this time, so I can move it to next week if I want)
afternoon some time: hang with
stonebender (no need to reschedule; doesn't require a lot of energy)
afternoon some time: visit
sogwife's flea market booth (might also be able to do that Sunday; not sure)
So, let's see, here's the revised plan:
10am: garden work meeting
afternoon: hang out with
stonebender at the flea market if he's up for it; otherwise, stay home and rest
That's a bit better. Next weekend will be burrito weekend, and if I sleep through the garden meeting, I'll live. I'm usually the only one besides the coordinator who shows, anyway.
